I am Russian, originally from Kiev, Ukraine. Live in Denmark for 6 years and absolutely love the country, people and Copenhagen, which I truly consider the most beautiful city in the world. Came here for work, which is interesting and inspiring, because you have a lot of smart people around you and because you feel that you can make a difference.
Open to new things, like to laugh and listen and can often fall for a good joke rather than for good looks, even though I am an esthete sometimes (who’s not?) I know appreaciating people's talents and adoring their strengths, especially the ones I don't have in myself.
Try to live my life here and now, able to do crazy things, throw myself into new adventures with passion and sometimes this passion lasts for many years. :)
My last serious hobby (with crazy trips that i will never forget) is French music. It has brought me a lot of friends all over the world, one more foreign language, freelance journalist's activities (meaning I've remembed how to use my own language :) ). And a feeling that everything is possible. Everything.
I always tell people good things about them, if I really think so. And trying to learn not to be afraid of anything. And expand my limits.
By now I am already pretty adjusted to Danish life. To Danish sarcastic humor. To bicycles. And even to Danish food. Even to remoulade. But not to marineret sild, no, no and no! =) Anyway, Indian food is still the favourite..
There are some things in Denmark that I cannot comprehend though, for instance the absolute equality of men and women which is kind of a religion here… I am more traditional, I think that a man should make woman feel like a woman. And a womans feminine energy, should inspire her man to feel like a real man. Nothing bad in woman being a strong personality and also being able to carry a heavy suitcase up the stairs, but... there should be a balance in everything.
